We love this guy almost as much as we love his wine. Charles Bieler is one of the gents behind The Show Cabernet Sauvignon, a collaboration with Nashville’s own Hatch Show Print. He cut his teeth making wine in Provence with his father. He then took his “show” on the road travelling across America in a pink Cadillac promoting Rose’. His Washington State wines he creates with noted winemaker, Charles Smith are killer. You simply cannot buy better wine for $12.99. We are pleased to share the Charles and Charles line-up with you on Friday beginning with the rose’ and ending with the Cabernet Sauvignon/ Syrah blend. And, yes CB did come out to Lebanon to see us before he took off to meet up with Joel Gott, his collaborator in The Show. Yep, he loves Nashville and now he loves Lebanon!
Just because you like a deal doesn’t mean you have to settle for less than the best. Evan Williams Single Barrel flies under the radar. But for those in the know ( or those who bother to read this email) this is one of the best values around in a single barrel whiskey. It is truly the standout in the Evan Williams line. Every step from the nose through the finish is pleasing. And, it’s actually vintage dated so you know exactly how old it is. True fans can literally read the rickhouse information ( where the barrel sat in the warehouse) and tell you what to expect given it’s exposure to heat, humidity, and cold drafts. And, don’t come cryin’ when it’s all gone because it is in limited supply.
