French winemaker, Herve’ Joyaux Fabre landed in Mendoza, Argentina in the 90’s looking for land to grow grapes. He was thrilled to find select high elevation vineyards planted with old vines. The conditions could not be more optimal for his winery, Fabre Montmayou. Fabre Montmayou Cabernet Franc is comprised of all estate grown grapes using traditional farming methods without herbicides and pesticides. All of the grapes are hand picked. The wine has an exuberant nose with red and black fruit aromas and a hint of mint. On the palate it is fresh and well balanced, with a long finish and round tannins. We are thrilled to offer this little masterpiece from South America at the shop. Stop by this afternoon to taste this wine along with a couple of other gems.
