Delicious French Wine
These two wines are your next favorite value wines from France. Domaine de Fontsainte from the Languedoc- Roussillon region is named for a naturally occurring thermal spring on the domaine. In the 12th century St. Simeon lived in this region hence the domaine got the name “Fontsainte” or saint’s fount. This blend relies heavily on a grape called Carignan. This medium bodied wine delivers what some wines only promise- luscious balanced fruit. The Sauvignon Blanc on the right with the beautiful label is one of the greatest values for Sauvignon Blanc perfection. Winemaker, Thierry Delaille came out to visit us recently to share the wine from Domaine du Salvard in the Loire Valley. He met us out by the lake and was particularly enthralled with fast moving fishing boats and turtles (none were rendered for soup). Both wines are excellent for Summer.
